A rule condition is made up of a set of input channels and a boolean expression referencing those channels. The condition is evaluated for every channel value for the selected input channel(s). A condition that is met will trigger an action.

An action is taken when a condition is met. Currently, the following actions supported are as such:

  • Create Annotation Action — An annotation that's created each time a rule condition is met. By default, rules are configured to generate data review annotations but can be adjusted.

    • Select the tags that will be assigned to the new annotation

    • Select the user that will be assigned to the new annotation

    • Select the type of annotation to be created:

      • Review Annotation: Used to note something that should be given a disposition in data review
      • Phase Annotation: Used to note information about the data for users to see
