File Attachments

File attachments are now supported in Sift. Files can be uploaded to Runs, Annotations, and Comments.

How to Upload

Runs

  1. Select the “Run Metadata” tab in the sidebar.
  2. Click the paperclip icon to open a file selector or drag files in

Annotations

  1. Select the annotation to add an attachment to
  2. Click the paperclip icon to open a file selector or drag files in

Annotation Comments

  1. Navigate to the comment section of the annotation.
  2. You can enter text, like before, and/or click the paperclip icon to open a file selector or drag files on top of the Comment composer to save the attachment in the comment alongside the text.

[!INFO] Bulk comment file uploads are also supported when multiple annotations are selected in both Explore and Reports.

Limits

⚠️ The single-file size limit is 30GB*.* ⚠️

There is no limit to the number of files that you can upload. This may be subject to change in the future.

Supported File Types

Upload

Any arbitrary file can be uploaded to and downloaded from Sift.

View

To view specific files inside of Sift, only a handful of file types are supported at this time:

Viewing Files

To view supported file within the Chart, simply click on the file and it will appear in the file viewer.

Downloading files

To download a viewable file, first select the file to be viewed, and then hovering over that file in the viewer will reveal a download icon button. Click that button to download your file.

To download a non-viewable file, simply click on the file in the File Attachments manager box.
