Campaign Overview
Overview
Data Review Campaigns streamline the process of managing and reviewing multiple Reports and their associated Annotations in Sift. This feature enables users to group related reports into Campaigns, view an overview of Annotation statuses, and perform bulk actions on those Annotations.
A Campaign has two tabs: “View/edit Campaign” and “View annotations,” which are accessible in the left sidebar.
Pictured above is the “View/edit Campaign” tab, where users can configure the Campaign (name, description, tags) and the Reports included in the Campaign. Clicking either on the “View annotations” tab or one one of the listed items in the Campaign (ex: “rover_1 functional post vibe” in the above screenshot) will take the user to the interface where they can filter and take action on the included Annotations.
Creating a Campaign
Campaigns are created on the Home page by navigating to the Campaigns tab then clicking “New Campaign.” Users can give the Campaign a name, description, and tags.
Editing the Reports in a Campaign
To add or edit the Reports included in a Campaign, click the “Edit reports” button, which will open the below modal.
In the modal, search for and select one or more Reports to include in the Campaign, then click “Confirm selection.”
Viewing Review Status
There are four tabs on the Campaign page for viewing a Campaign overview: Reports, Runs, Assignees, and Rules. The Annotations in the Campaign will be grouped by the selection. Below is an example of grouping by Runs.
Status by Rule vs. Annotation
For some groupings (Reports or Runs), users can view status by Rules or Annotations. Viewing status by Rule will show users the results of each Rule evaluation on a given Run or Report and gives a more complete picture of the analysis status. Viewing status by Annotation will show users the total amount of Annotations with a given status and can be helpful when determining the actual number of violations in a Run or Report.
Rule Status
Passed | The Rule evaluated without producing any Annotations to review. |
Accepted | All of a Rule’s produced Annotations have been manually Accepted by a user. |
Failed | One or more of a Rule’s produced Annotations have been manually Failed by a user. |
Open | A Rule doesn’t have any Failed Annotations, but there are remaining Annotations which have not been dispositioned. |
Annotation Status
Accepted | The Annotation has been manually Accepted by a user. |
Failed | The Annotation has been manually Failed by a user. |
Open | The Annotation has been neither Accepted nor Failed by a user. |
Status by Assignee
The status grouped by Assignee will show the status of the assigned and unassigned annotations, so the Campaign owner knows what work still needs to be assigned out or actioned.
Filtering and Addressing Annotations
The filters in box 1 allow users to precisely identify Annotations to take action on. Users can filter by Report, Asset, Run, Rule, Assignee, Status, and/or Tags. The URL also incorporates the selected filters, so each can be saved for later reference.
Clicking the “Select” button in box 2 allows one or more Annotations to be selected and actioned, as seen in the screenshot below.
