Runs

A run contains a set of channels for a discrete period for a set of assets. As a convenience, if you specify a run ID during ingestion, those channels will be added to the run, and the run's bounds will be updated to ensure it includes the data.

Create a New Run from Continuous Data

Click on the dropdown next to the run name, then click "Create new run".

This opens a modal dialog where you can supply the name and description.

Note: Calculated channels are not currently supported and will not be included in the created run.

View Run Details

The run sidebar will appear when viewing a run in Explore. To view a run in Explore, it must be selected in Home.

Edit Run Details

Click the edit icon to edit a run.

You can update the run's description or add tags, which are universally unique strings that can be used for searching for runs. You can select existing tags or create new tags. The tag search also provides advanced features like case matching and regular expressions.
