Overview

In Explore v2 (Beta), you can create a new Run from a specific time window within an existing Run plotted in a Timeseries Panel. By using the Select X tool to highlight a time range, you can split that subset into its own saved Run for focused analysis, without affecting the original Run. Once created, you can add the new Run as a data source in your current investigation or navigate directly to it.

Instructions

To create a Run from a selection:
  1. In Explore v2 (Beta), open a Timeseries panel with a Run plotted.
  2. In the Toolbar, click Select X.
  3. In the Timeseries Panel, click and drag over the time window you want to extract.
  4. Right-click the selected window, then select Create Run.
  5. In the Create Run dialog, update the time range if needed.
  6. In the Run name box, enter a name for the new Run.
  7. Optional: In the Description box, enter a description.
  8. Click Create.
