Overview

In Explore V2 (Beta), you can replace a data source directly within an investigation without rebuilding it. This allows you to reuse existing Panels, filters, and calculations while swapping in a new data source.
Assets/Runs: You can only replace a Run with another Run or an Asset with another Asset. Cross-type replacement is not supported. The replacement data source must also contain the same Channels as the original.

Instructions

To replace a Run:
  1. In the Channels tab, locate the Run you want to replace.
  2. Right-click the Run, and then select Replace data source.
  3. In the Runs tab, select the Run you want to use as the replacement.
  4. Click Preview changes.
  5. Review any warnings for missing or incompatible Channels.
  6. Click Confirm replacement.
