Manage Runs

Overview

This guide walks you through the process of creating, configuring, and managing Runs within Sift.

​

General

​

Create a Run

To create a Run:

1. In Sift, click .
2. Click Upload file.
3. Select and upload the file you want to associate with the new Run.

View a Run’s details

To view a Run’s details:

1. In Sift, click .
2. In the Runs table, click the Run you want to view its details.

Edit a Run’s details

To edit a Run’s details:

1. In Sift, click .
2. In the Runs table, click the Run you want to edit its details.
3. Click Edit.
4. Edit Run.
5. Click Save changes.

Attach a file to a Run

To attach a file to a Run:

1. In Sift, click .
2. In the Runs table, click the Run you want to attach a file to.
3. Click Attach.
4. Upload file.

Download a file attached to a Run

To download a file attached to a Run:

1. In Sift, click .
2. In the Runs table, click the Run that contains the file to be downloaded.
3. In the File attachments section, click Open section.
4. Locate and hover over the file you want to download.
5. Click Download.

Download a Run’s original data file from its Overview page

To download a Run’s original data file from its Overview page:

1. In Sift, click .
2. In the Runs table, click the Run whose original data file you want to download.
3. In the File attachments section, click Open section.
4. Click Imported data file.

Channels

Export a Run’s Channels from its Overview page

To export a Run’s Channels from its Overview page:

1. In Sift, click .
2. In the Runs table, click the Run whose Channel data you want to export.
3. Click Export data.
4. Select a few/all Channels:
   • A few Channels
   • All Channels

   1. In the Channels table, click the Channel(s) you want to export.
5. Click Next.
6. Optional: In the Channel name display setting, select a display option.
7. Optional: In the File splitting setting, select a split option.
8. Optional: In the Channel data grouping setting, select Combine Runs.
9. Click Export.
