This guide walks you through the process of creating, configuring, and managing Reports within Sift.

Generate a Report

With a Report Template

To generate a Report for a Run with a Report Template:

  1. In Sift, click .
  2. Click the Runs tab.
  3. In Runs table, click the Run for which you want to generate a Report.
  4. Click Create report.
  5. In the Report Template tab, click the Report Template you want to use to generate the Report.
  6. Click Evaluate.

Without a Report Template (with certain Rules)

To generate a Report for a Run without using a Report Template:

  1. In Sift, click .
  2. Click the Runs tab.
  3. In Runs table, click the Run for which you want to generate a Report.
  4. Click Create report.
  5. Click the Rules tab.
  6. In the Rules table, click the Rule(s) you want to include in the Report.
  7. Click Evaluate.

Share a Report

To share a Report:

  1. In Sift, click .
  2. Click the Reports tab.
  3. In the Reports table, click the Report you want to share.
  4. Hover over the Report title, then click Share.

    The link is copied to your clipboard and can be shared with others to give them access to the Report.

Assign a Report-generated Annotation

In a Report, to assign a Report-generated Annotation:

  1. In the Rules section, click the Rule with a generated Annotation you want to assigned.
  2. Click the Annotation.
  3. In the Assgined to list, select a user.

Add a comment to a Report-generated Annotation

In a Report, to add comment to a Report-generated Annotation:

  1. In the Rules section, click the Rule with a generated Annotation you want to assigned.
  2. Click the Annotation.
  3. In the Enter a comment box, enter a comment for the Annotation.
  4. Click Post.

Merge strip charts

To merge strip charts:

  1. Click Merge charts.

Split merged strip charts

To split merged strip charts:

  1. Click Split charts.

To move through Rules in a Report without using the mouse:

  1. Press Shift + to go to the previous Rule.
  2. Press Shift + to go to the next Rule.
