Manage Table Viewer (Beta)

Overivew

This guide shows how to work with telemetry data using Table Viewer in the Explore workspace. It covers practical actions like configuring columns, filtering values, syncing with Explore's lien chart, and exporting data. Use this guide when you need precise, timestamp-level analysis of your Channel data inside Explore.

Instructions

Open Table Viewer

To open Table Viewer for plotted Channels in the line chart in Explore:

1. In Explore, click Other Charts.
2. In the Other Charts list, select Table Viewer.

Add a new Channel to an existing Table Viewer

Adding a new Channel to the line chart does not automatically include it in an existing Table Viewer. To display the newly plotted Channel in the Table Viewer:

1. On the new Channel card, click Add chart.
2. In the Add chart list , select Table Viewer.

Remove a Table Viewer's column

To remove a Table Viewer's column:

1. In Explore, click Other Charts.
2. In the Other Charts list, select Table Viewer.
3. In the Table Viewer tab, click Trash in the header of the column you want to delete.

Turn on or off synchronization between the line chart and Table Viewer

To turn on or off synchronization between the line chart adn Table Viewer:

1. In Explore, click Other Charts.
2. In the Other Charts list, select Table Viewer.
3. In the Table Viewer tab, click the Sync time to plot toggle.

Include or exclude a column's carried values

To exluce a column's carried values:

1. In Explore, click Other Charts.
2. In the Other Charts list, select Table Viewer.
3. In the Table Viewer tab, click Settings in the header of the column you want to edit its carried values.
4. Clear the Include carried values checkbox.
5. Click Apply changes.

Filter a Table Viewer's column values

To filter a Table Viewer's column:

1. In Explore, click Other Charts.
2. In the Other Charts list, select Table Viewer.
3. In the Table Viewer tab, click Settings in the header of the column you want to filter its values.
4. In the Filter list, select a condition to apply.
5. In the Filter input box, enter the value you want to use for the condition.
6. Click Apply changes.

Set a column's row creation trigger

To define a column's row creation trigger:

1. In Explore, click Other Charts.
2. In the Other Charts list, select Table Viewer.
3. In the Table Viewer tab, click Settings in the header of the column to configure its row creation trigger.
4. Click On sample, On change, or Reference only.
5. Click Apply changes.

Export Table Viewer to a CSV file

A Table Viewer can be exported to a CSV file, capturing its content. To export table data to a CSV:

1. In Explore, click Other Charts.
2. In the Other Charts list, select Table Viewer.
3. In the Table Viewer tab, click Export as CSV.
