Report Templates

Overview

Report Templates in Sift allow users to create reusable groups of Rules that can be quickly applied to telemetry Runs. Instead of manually selecting Rules each time, users define a template with the exact Rules needed for a specific test scenario, hardware configuration, or review process. When a Report Template is used, its associated Rules are evaluated automatically, generating Annotations and building a structured Report.

Reprot Templates help teams save time, standardize reviews, reduce risk, and maintain consistency across evaluations. They make it easy to apply known criteria, preserve historical review methods, and build institutional knowledge. Reports generated from Report Templates consolidate Annotations, link them to their originating Rules and statuses, and provide teams with actionable insights to detect patterns, correlate behaviors, and drive continuous system improvement.
